Programme Overview
Physiotherapy is a career that focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation in patients with physical injury or disability. The treatment offered by Physiotherapist involved wide range cases of such as Geriatrics, Sports related, Paediatrics, Neurology and Cardiopulmonary.
A certified Physiotherapist are eligible to work as:
● Physiotherapist at:
o Government or private hospital
o Physiotherapy centre / Nursing home
o Community Rehabilitation Centres
o Self-employed / locum / free lance
● Physiotherapist Manager
● Fitness and Sports Therapist
● Clinical Instructor at Government or Private University and College
SPM level: Pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with 5 credits in subject:
○ Mathematics
○ 1 science subject (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Applied Science)
○ Any 3 Subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and English if it’s a credit)
GCE/O-LEVEL: Pass Bahasa Malaysia and English with 5 gred ‘C’ in below subject
● Mathematics
● 1 science subject (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Applied Science)
● Any 3 Subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and English if it’s a credit)
Any Health Science Certificate: Minimum pointer 2.75
